inourti.me

inourti.me uses facial recognition through a webcam to track the user's blinks, generating a new New York Times headline each time their eyes close and timing how long they spend reading it. The longer the read, the louder and more abrasive the sound triggered by the next blink. The project interrogates the 24-hour news cycle, click-bait economics, and the quiet surveillance baked into consumer hardware — using involuntary movement as both interface and indictment.
