History of Now

Built in collaboration with Informationart, the project translates Thomas Moynihan's research on existential risk and humanity's shifting sense of time into a 3D web environment. Historical predictions and temporal models unfold through spatial navigation and visual timelines, letting the reader move between essay and dataset in a single view. Motion, depth, and interactive structure turn abstract temporal concepts into something you can walk through.

Clinton Van Arnam is a Brooklyn-based independent designer whose work focuses on the nuances of typography across interactive and time-based projects. He collaborates with clients, artists, architects, and design teams internationally. Clinton teaches motion graphics and web interaction at Parsons School of Design and has previously taught at Rhode Island School of Design and University of California, Los Angeles. He holds an MFA in Graphic Design from RISD and a BA in Design Media Arts from UCLA.
