Comfort Magazine

A spatial, interactive extension of the print publication that translates editorial content into motion and depth. Essays, images, and archival material unfold through non-linear navigation, replacing static layouts with a reading experience shaped by pacing and proximity. The build includes a custom CMS for editorial workflows and a bespoke storefront and backend supporting the magazine's catalog, books, and merchandise.

Clinton Van Arnam is a Brooklyn-based independent designer whose work focuses on the nuances of typography across interactive and time-based projects. He collaborates with clients, artists, architects, and design teams internationally. Clinton teaches motion graphics and web interaction at Parsons School of Design and has previously taught at Rhode Island School of Design and University of California, Los Angeles. He holds an MFA in Graphic Design from RISD and a BA in Design Media Arts from UCLA.
